Because the Covid-19 Pandemic continues, the best way to keep everyone safe, including voters and election workers, is to vote using a mail-in ballot in the General Election on November 3, 2020. Do your part and follow these four steps to vote by Mail-In Ballot!
You must be registered to vote at your current address. You can check your registration status here. https://voterservices.elections.maryland.gov/VoterSearch
If you are not registered, or you need to update your name or address, you can do so here:
Request your ballot online for fastest processing.
You might receive a hard copy of the ballot-request form in the mail but note that, unlike in the Primary, you will not receive a ballot for the general election unless you request one. The fastest and most efficient way to request a ballot is via the button below. However, make sure you request your ballot be mailed to you via the U.S Postal Service, not emailed to you. Emailed & downloaded ballots are much more time-consuming and costly for the Board of Elections to process, so whenever possible, have your ballot mailed, not emailed!
When you Receive your ballot in the mail, follow the steps highlighted via the link here to vote your ballot. Make sure you use blue or black ink and sign the oath!
For more information about the candidates and contests on your ballot, find your League of Women Voters Guide here:
Return your ballot via US mail in the envelope provided or deposit your ballot in any of the official drop boxes to be installed prior to the election. We will update this site with drop box locations as soon as the Board of Elections identifies them.
By returning your ballot early, you will be doing your part to help Maryland quickly and efficiently tabulate every vote.
Once you have returned it, you can track your ballot here.
Contact the Board of Elections via the button below or send a note to the volunteers at email@example.com and we will do our best to get an answer for you!
